If your camera is used you won’t be charged any GST if you post it by Fedex or Express Post. You can insure your camera when you lodge it with your courier. I personally received a Sony Laptop from USA in Australia by FedEx without paying anything.

If your camera is new, you will be charged GST 10% x (Camera value + Freight+Insurance+Stamp Duty). (In your case, maybe GST is 12.5%)
