I just bought a Logitech Quickcam…and on step 4 of installation it says please wait while camer connects….
For some odd reason, even after uninstalling and re-installing the camera software, it can never connect to the camera. I have tried numerous USB ports and things like that…and it just won’t connect. I’m not sure if it could be a bad camera…or what?
Any advice would be helpful, I have uninstalled and reinstalled software but never get past step 4. Tried different ports…I work from home on my computer, so I cannot imagine it wouldn’t support it…could the USB port be too slow?

Did you plug the camera in before installing the software & drivers? That can cause this problem you are having. You’ll have to unplug the camera and uninstall the software and drivers. Then, reinstall it all, then plug the camera in when it asks for it.
You may also have to do a registry edit.
